Before you start
Before you have your braai, remember that planning is very important. Plan it right and have a stress free and enjoyable time. After all thats what's braaiing is all about. Good Food, Good fun and Great friends.
Please read the Braai tips section, and have a piece of paper to jot down some notes. And remember BEER takes time to chill down to the prefect temp. I always cool mine down at least 2 days before if i'm running low. You could always have an ice bin (for a quick chill down) on stand-by for the friends that bring their own booze. Charcoal / wood always keep some to one side just incase you decide to have a braai and can't find any fuel in the shops as it is very seasonal in the UK.
If you are marinating meat, it is often best to do so 24hrs in advance. But check out the tips section as some of the acids etc in some marinates may have effect on your meat.
